Stylish apartment in Brussels by AIMJ
Located in Brussels, Belgium, this stylish apartment measures 65 square meters (699 square feet) and was renovated by Mara and Julien, the French-Belgian duo behind AIMJ.
The main goal for this interior design project was to create a bright, functional space, suitable for the young owners' lifestyle.
The main area of the Belgian apartment consists of a kitchen, dining and living room, separated by a a beam and a column.
To hide the column, the designers integrated custom cabinetry, which also provided additional storage space.
The custom-made furniture allowed the design duo to integrate a small home office area. The electrical outlets and Ethernet ports for laptops and hidden printers were integrated into the cabinetry.
The yellow color highlights the beam and offers the apartment a modern and youthful feel.
In the living room area, a red LC2 sofa by Le Corbusier adds a touch of color, while the Zettel'z lamp by the famous designer Ingo Maurer brings poetry to the space.
The end result is a stylish Belgian apartment that stands as a testament to the designers’ attention to detail.
